Stablecoins in Treasury Public preview
Receive, store, and send stablecoins using your financial account.
Your financial account can hold a stablecoin balance in US dollar-backed the related setting. It supports funding and money movement, including in markets where a fiat balance isn’t available. With a stablecoin balance, you can receive, store, convert, and send funds.
Availability
Where you can send stablecoin funds depends on the destination:
- Countries for stablecoin payouts to bank accounts
- Countries for stablecoin payouts to crypto wallets

Enable the related setting
If your business is in an eligible country, you can enable a stablecoin balance by adding the related setting as a currency on your financial account. In the Dashboard, go to Balances and select the related setting.
How funds move
Funds can move in and out of a stablecoin balance in the following ways:
- Inbound
- Stablecoin funds directly from an external the related setting or the related setting.e crypto wallet (Stripe converts the related setting.e to the related setting)
- Converted from a supported Stripe fiat balance, which you can fund from an external bank account or your Stripe payments balance
- Outbound
- Stablecoin funds directly to an external the related setting or the related setting.e crypto wallet
- As fiat to a bank account (Stripe converts the related setting to the local currency)
- Converted to a supported Stripe fiat balance
- To fund card spend
You can’t move funds from an external fiat account directly to your Stripe stablecoin balance. You need to first move them to a Stripe fiat balance, then convert them to stablecoin.
