Cashback on card spend Public preview

Earn cashback on eligible transactions when you spend with your card.

Earn 2% cashback (US cards) or 1% cashback (UK cards) on eligible card purchases. Stripe credits cashback to your financial account when the transaction settles. Cashback doesn’t apply to holding funds or to sending and receiving money through your financial account. For rewards on held balances, see Balance rewards. Cashback is reversed if an eligible transaction is refunded or returned.

You only earn cashback on cards issued on the Mastercard network. To learn where cashback is available, see Availability.

Cashback on stablecoin-backed cards Private preview

Cashback on stablecoin-backed cards is in private preview. Earn 2% cashback on eligible transactions. Stripe credits it to your stablecoin balance.

You can view your total earned cashback on the Treasury page and the Cards page. You can view cashback earned per transaction on each transaction’s detail page.

Ineligible transactions

The following Merchant Category Codes (MCC) aren’t eligible to earn cashback. These categories represent cash-like, gambling, and government payment transactions.
