Makes shipping information an optional parameter for Afterpay payments
What’s new
Providing shipping information in the PaymentIntent for Afterpay payments is now optional.
When using PaymentIntents, you can now accept Afterpay payments without passing shipping information. Although it’s not required, we still recommend passing shipping information to improve conversion rates. The shipping address must include valid data for line1, postal_code, and country.
Upgrade
- View your current API version in Workbench.
- If you use an SDK, upgrade to the corresponding SDK version for this API version.
- If you don’t use an SDK, update your API requests to include Stripe-Version: 2025-02-24. acacia
- Upgrade the API version used for webhook endpoints .
- Test your integration against the new version.
- If you use Connect, test your Connect integration .
- In Workbench, perform the upgrade . You can roll back the version for 72 hours.
