Create a bank account

POST / v1 / customers /:id / sources

When you create a new bank account, you must specify a Customer object on which to create it.

Parameters

• source object | string Required Either a token, like the ones returned by Stripe.js, or a dictionary containing a user’s bank account details (with the options shown below).
• metadata map Set of key-value pairs that you can attach to an object. This can be useful for storing additional information about the object in a structured format. Individual keys can be unset by posting an empty value to them. All keys can be unset by posting an empty value to metadata.

Returns

Returns the bank account object.

Update a bank account

POST / v1 / customers /:id / sources /:id

Updates the account_holder_name, account_holder_type, and metadata of a bank account belonging to a customer. Other bank account details are not editable, by design.

Parameters

• account _ holder _ name string The name of the person or business that owns the bank account.
• account _ holder _ type string The type of entity that holds the account. This can be either individual or company.
• metadata map Set of key-value pairs that you can attach to an object. This can be useful for storing additional information about the object in a structured format. Individual keys can be unset by posting an empty value to them. All keys can be unset by posting an empty value to metadata.

Returns the bank account object.

Retrieve a bank account

GET / v1 / customers /:id / bank_accounts /:id

By default, you can see the 10 most recent sources stored on a Customer directly on the object, but you can also retrieve details about a specific bank account stored on the Stripe account.
