Adds Tempo network support for crypto payments
What’s new
Adds support for the Tempo blockchain by adding tempo as a new network option to the network property of the Charge object’s payment_method_details.crypto hash. This expands the available blockchain networks your customers can use when processing cryptocurrency payments through Stripe.
Impact
The read-only network property of the Charge object’s payment_method_details.crypto hash can now be tempo after a crypto payment completes. This value indicates that the customer chose to pay using the Tempo blockchain network.
If your integration handles crypto payments, update your code to account for the new tempo network value when reading payment method details.

Upgrade
- View your current API version in Workbench.
- If you use an SDK, upgrade to the corresponding SDK version for this API version.
- If you don’t use an SDK, update your API requests to include Stripe-Version: 2026-03-25. dahlia
- Upgrade the API version used for webhook endpoints .
- Test your integration against the new version.
- If you use Connect, test your Connect integration .
- In Workbench, perform the upgrade . You can roll back the version for 72 hours.
