What’s new
Adds the Tax ID Element component to Customer Sessions, enabling you to securely collect and save tax identification numbers for your customers.
Impact
You can now use the Tax ID Element to securely collect and display tax identification numbers on the client side. Create a Customer Session that enables the tax_id_element component to authorise client-side access to tax ID management for your customers.

Upgrade
- View your current API version in Workbench.
- If you use an SDK, upgrade to the corresponding SDK version for this API version.
- If you don’t use an SDK, update your API requests to include Stripe-Version: 2025-10-29. preview
- Upgrade the API version used for webhook endpoints .
- Test your integration against the new version.
- If you use Connect, test your Connect integration .
