SKU values no longer need to be unique Breaking changes

What’s new

When creating or updating a SKU, its attribute values no longer need to be unique. It’s now possible to create multiple SKUs without attributes or with identical attribute values.

Impact

Removing the requirement for unique attribute values when creating or updating SKUs lets you create multiple SKUs with identical attributes or without attributes altogether. This allows for more flexible product management.

Upgrade

1. View your current API version in Workbench.
2. If you use an SDK, upgrade to the corresponding SDK version for this API version.

• If you don’t use an SDK, update your API requests to include Stripe-Version: 2018-09-06

3. Upgrade the API version used for webhook endpoints .
4. Test your integration against the new version.
5. If you use Connect, test your Connect integration .
