Exporting Your Designs


Exporting your Canva designs allows you to save your work in formats like PDF, JPG, or PNG, making it easy to share or print. Use this guide when you need to download your design for offline use or to send it to others.

Before you start

  • Ensure you have a Canva account. If not, refer to the article "Creating an Account on Canva."
  • Complete your design. See "Designing a Flyer" or "Creating a Logo" for guidance.

Steps to Export Your Design

  1. Open Your Design: Log in to Canva and navigate to your design from the homepage.

  2. Access the Download Menu: Click on the "Share" button located at the top-right corner of the screen.

  1. Select Download: In the dropdown menu, click on "Download."

  1. Choose File Type: Select the desired file format (PDF, JPG, or PNG) from the options provided.

  1. Adjust Settings: If necessary, adjust any additional settings such as quality or size.

  2. Download Your Design: Click the "Download" button to save the file to your device.

Example

To export a flyer as a JPG:

1. Open your flyer design in Canva.
2. Click "Share" > "Download."
3. Choose "JPG" as the file type.
4. Click "Download."

If something goes wrong

  • File Not Downloading: Ensure your internet connection is stable. Try refreshing the page and repeating the steps.
  • Wrong File Format: Double-check the file type selected in the download menu. Ensure it matches your intended format.
  • Low Quality Output: Check the quality settings before downloading. Increase the resolution if necessary.
