Adds ability to configure WiFi for Terminal readers
What’s new
Adds the ability to remotely configure the WiFi network for Terminal sPOS readers through the Terminal Configuration API object. After setting a remote WiFi network, the reader displays it as a Configured network. We support WPA/the related setting Personal and Enterprise networks, including EAP-TLS certificates.
Impact
Readers with remotely configured WiFi credentials can connect to the network automatically, without requiring the end user to enter any additional information. To fetch the remotely configured network from the server, the reader must first connect to a local WiFi network.

Upgrade
- View your current API version in Workbench.
- If you use an SDK, upgrade to the corresponding SDK version for this API version.
- If you don’t use an SDK, update your API requests to include Stripe-Version: 2025-03-31. basil
- Upgrade the API version used for webhook endpoints .
- Test your integration against the new version.
- If you use Connect, test your Connect integration .
- In Workbench, perform the upgrade . You can roll back the version for 72 hours.
