Install the Salesforce Billing Extension
Learn how to install the Salesforce Billing extension.
Before you begin
Before installing the Salesforce Billing extension, you must install the following:
Install the Stripe app for Salesforce Platform
Follow the steps in the Stripe app for Salesforce Platform installation guide.
Install Salesforce CPQ
- Apply the Salesforce CPQ License permission and set the license to the user who installs the package in your organization.
- Navigate to the Salesforce Quote-to-Cash website , scroll down to the Salesforce CPQ package installation links, and select the most recent release. If you’re installing into a sandbox environment, click the Sandbox link. If you’re installing it into a production environment, click the Production link. You might see a prompt to log into your Salesforce organization if you haven’t logged in previously.
- Make sure that Install for All Users is selected and click Install .
- You need to approve access to and from third-party websites. Check the Grant Access checkbox, and click Continue .
- After completing the installation, go to Setup > Apps > Packaging > Installed Packages and click Configure in Salesforce CPQ.
- Select the Pricing and Calculation tab and click Authorize new calculation service .
- To enable multiple orders, go to the Order tab, select the Allow Multiple Orders checkbox, and set the Default Order Start Date to Quote Start Date .
- Click Save to save your configuration.
Install Salesforce Billing
- Navigate to the Salesforce Quote-to-Cash webiste, scroll down to the Salesforce Billing package installation links, and select the most recent release. If you’re installing it into a sandbox environment, click the Sandbox link, and if you’re installing it into a production environment, click the Production link. You might see a prompt to log into your Salesforce organization if you haven’t done so already.
- Make sure Install for All Users is selected, and click Install .
- After completing the installation, verify it in Setup > Apps > Packaging > Installed Packages .
Install the Salesforce Billing Extension
After you’ve installed the prerequisites, install the Stripe Extension Package for Salesforce Billing from the Extensions section in the app wizard
- Make sure that you’ve only selected Install for Admins Only , and click Install .
- In the third-party access dialog, check the Grant Access checkbox and click Continue .
- When the installation completes, you receive a confirmation email.
- Navigate to Setup > Apps > Packaging > Installed Packages and verify that the package is installed.
