Updated address validations for Tax Public preview
What’s new
You can use the validate_location parameter on the Customer configuration to prevent updating the identity address to something unusable for Stripe Tax calculations.

Impact
The identity address will be validated for Stripe Tax calculations if you set the validate_location parameter.
Upgrade
- View your current API version in Workbench.
- If you use an SDK, upgrade to the corresponding SDK version for this API version.
- If you don’t use an SDK, update your API requests to include Stripe-Version: 2025-04-30. preview
- Upgrade the API version used for webhook endpoints .
- Test your integration against the new version.
- If you use Connect, test your Connect integration .
