Adds support for managing stablecoin payments with Payment Method Configurations
What’s new
You can now create, update, and manage stablecoin payments alongside other payment methods using the crypto parameter of the Payment Method Configurations.
Impact
You can now programmatically enable and disable stablecoin payments using Payment Method Configurations. If you’re already using a Payment Method Configuration, you can now configure stablecoin usage in your existing integration without using additional API endpoints or authentication requirements.

Upgrade
- View your current API version in Workbench.
- If you use an SDK, upgrade to the corresponding SDK version for this API version.
- If you don’t use an SDK, update your API requests to include Stripe-Version: 2025-10-29. clover
- Upgrade the API version used for webhook endpoints .
- Test your integration against the new version.
- If you use Connect, test your Connect integration .
- In Workbench, perform the upgrade . You can roll back the version for 72 hours.
