Adds support for Bizum payments

What’s new

Adds support for Bizum, a real-time payment method in Spain that allows customers to make instant payments by entering the phone number they’ve registered with Bizum and approving the payment directly in their bank’s app.

Impact

If your business serves customers in Spain, you can now offer Bizum as a payment option at checkout. Because the payment flow keeps customers on your website throughout the authorization process, you maintain full control of the checkout flow without depending on external redirects.

When testing in a sandbox, use the test phone numbers to simulate different payment outcomes.

Upgrade

View your current API version in Workbench.
If you use an SDK, upgrade to the corresponding SDK version for this API version.

If you don’t use an SDK, update your API requests to include Stripe-Version: 2026-05-27. dahlia

Upgrade the API version used for webhook endpoints .
Test your integration against the new version.
If you use Connect, test your Connect integration .
In Workbench, perform the upgrade . You can roll back the version for 72 hours.
